Questions & answers
The things people most want to understand before they begin.
Is LetterToHer a will?
No. LetterToHer is not a will or a legal estate document, and should not be used to transfer ownership of assets. It carries your words, not your legal affairs.
Could a message be sent by accident?
No. A message is never delivered after a single missed check-in. It takes repeated missed check-ins, trusted-contact review, a waiting period, and a human review before anything is released.
Who can read my messages?
Your messages are encrypted at rest, with keys stored separately in a managed key vault. Trusted contacts never see them; only your intended recipient does, at the intended time.
Can I change my mind?
Always. You can edit, pause, archive, or delete any message at any time before it is delivered.
What do trusted contacts do?
If you stop responding to check-ins, we may gently ask them to help confirm whether you are okay. That is their only role.
